Celestial Colors®

Celestial Colors are cosmetic grade dyes for use in cold-process soaps, melt & pour soaps, and skincare products. Our colorants are packaged in 2 oz.(70 ml.) plastic bottles with a convenient twist-top lid for easy dispensing. Celestial Colors contain FD&C and D&C dyes and are highly concentrated to be an effective colorant system in a variety of soap and cosmetic mediums; 1/4 teaspoon of dye will color a pound of soap a medium shade. More or less colorant may be required to achieve the desired color. Please Note: Please be aware that colors often look different in different browsers and/or monitors, we tried to get them as true as possible but some browsers are limited in how they display colors. Also, you may have varying results than shown here according to the ph of your soap base. Colors shown here are meant to be used as a guideline. If you are trying to achieve a certain color, testing the colors first in a small test batch is recommended. Mixing Instructions: To ensure that the soap dyes are evenly dispersed in your soap; we recommend adding the colorant to one cup of soap then thoroughly mixing with a stick blender before adding to the soap batch.
